The Zhibula copper polymetallic mine is located at the junction of Mezhugongka County and Dagze County in Tibet, 70 kilometers away from Lhasa.The project is divided into the South Open-Pit and the North Open-Pit Mine. The total mining volume of the two deposits is about 75.57 million cubic meters, rock volume 69.39 million cubic meters and ore volume 6.18 million cubic meters. And the average grade of copper achieves 1.14%, the stripping ratio is 8.12 tonnes/tonne, the output is expected to be 6,000 tonnes per day during the production period of about 9 years.

Julong Copper Zhibuladao Metal Mine is the world's second-largest and Asia's first-largest copper mine, at altitude of 5500 meters, which is known as the closest mine to the sky because of its high altitude and the world's highest-altitude mining project.
